Blackberry Lemon Gin and Tonic
A little zing with big flavour - a new take on the classic G & T.
Marshmallow creme ('Marshmallow fluff') (you can also melt marshmallows)
2 peppermint candy canes, crushed
1/4 vanilla vodka
1 tbsp peppermint schnapps
1/4 cup white chocolate liqueur*
Slightly heat marshmallow creme until melted and pour onto a small saucer.
Dip the rim of martini glass into melted marshmallow creme before coating with crushed candy cane. Drizzle extra melted creme into glass and place into freezer.
In a shaker with ice, add vodka, schnapps and liqueur. Shake and pour into glass. Sprinkle with crushed peppermint. If desired, add a little chilled milk.
Serve with candy cane.
*If you don't have access to prepaid white chocolate liqueur, we found a great recipe for making it at home over at Will Cook For Friends. Copy and paste this link: http://www.willcookforfriends.com/2013/12/white-chocolate-peppermint-bark-martini-homemade-white-chocolate-liqueur-fak-friday.html
