Tucked between Adelaide City’s office buildings on Flinders Street is Insieme Ristorante, established since 2009. Recently taken over by new owners, this restaurant offers authentic Italian delights to all who enter. Housemade pasta dishes such as tagliarini with swimmer crab meat, chilli, basil and rose sauce, or potato gnocchi with hot, spicy smoked Calabrian sausage, keep city workers happy during lunchtime on weekdays. Meanwhile, dinner patrons can enjoy entrees such as seared scallops with green pea puree, fried capers and lemon dressing, before venturing onto mains like a Murray Valley moisture infused pork cutlet with Parmesan, pinenut crumb and crispy kestrel potatoes. Make sure to leave room for panettone - an Italian style bread and butter pudding served with crème Anglaise.

Entrée: stuffed calamari, capers, anchovy, Parmesan, parsley and fennel.
Pasta: beetroot gnocchi with mint pesto, broad beans, walnuts and goats cheese. Main: Twice cooked duck with seasonal vegetables. Dessert: panettone pudding with crème Anglaise.
