A hoohum experience
Food was less than the price paid. We shared an octopus with kingfish entree, good flavors, but not much octopus, mostly fish and foam. We ordered the lamb shoulder for two as our main. The lamb was cooked very well, the beans and vegetables were correctly done but the dish was very salty. To the point where the salt overpowered the entire dish. Service was slow to the point where we felt ignored. Our dessert was very good and my wife’s latte was exceptional. Overall presentation was nice, but the saltiness of the food and the preoccupation of the staff left a lot to be desired. We’ve experienced better food, better service, and considerably less expense in several Australian dining establishments during our current journey.
