About Cumbia Bar & Kitchen
A fusion of South American cuisine, music and folklore awaits Adelaide diners at Cumbia Bar & Kitchen on Grote Street. Located next to the Central Market, this rustic eatery welcomes guests through a well-worn brick archway to a trendy fit-out of high stools, pendent globes, mosaic tiles and natural light streaming through the glass frontage. On balmy days dine alfresco and people watch while enjoying breakfast dishes such as corn fritters, bacon, fresh avocado, tomato salsa, chilli oil and poached eggs, or cheese, beef and chorizo empanadas. Those dining later can delve into Peruvian ceviche of kingfish, cured in fresh citrus juice, aji Amarillo and aromatic herbs; followed by paella with saffron rice, chorizo and chicken, best paired with a Pisco sour cocktail.

The food was fantastic and the staff were very polite and attentive it was a very nice experience
Excellent food!
The food was great, we left completely satisfied with that. The service needed to improve, we were seated right in front of the kitchen area, but seemed to be invisible to the wait staff until we made a point to make ourselves known.....something to work on in future I guess.
