About Chianti Restaurant Adelaide

Those looking for an elegant dining experience with the friendly warmth of a classic Italian trattoria, head to Chianti Restaurant on Hutt Street in Adelaide's CBD. Nestled on a tree-lined street guests can devour sumptuous fare on the quaint verandah, or relax in the refined ambiance of well-worn brick, white clothed tables and fireplace in the downstairs dining room. From Chefs dedicated to the traditions of an Italian kitchen, expect breakfast offerings such as housemade pumpkin waffles, roasted pumpkin, spicy maple bacon and fried eggs; while the main menu presents dishes like slow cooked Adelaide Hills farmed rabbit, pancetta, port and sage. Twirl a fork around tagliolini with blue swimmer crab, zucchini and saffron jelly; finishing with a dessert of dark chocolate torte and cherries.

My fiance and I dined at this restaurant for his birthday, we loved every minute of it. The food was superb, the service was faultless and the whole atmosphere was of the evening was one of pure decadence. Will definitely recommend Chianti Classico.
