Marie-Antoinette Issa peeps into the past with Easter traditions you probably have never heard of such as why do we eat seafood on Good Friday and where did the Easter bunny come from; she also delivers egg-streme recipes for those Easter leftovers you’re not sure what to do with.

From humble beginnings at a South Australian motor inn, St Hugo Chef Simon Hicks has gone on to cooking gigs around the UK before finding himself at the helm of the kitchen at this Chef-hatted Barossa Valley dining destination.

He chats with us about what guests can expect when dining here, along with sharing his recipe for chicken and leek terrine, which is a great way to use up leftover chicken to create a delicious entrée, light lunch or pre-dinner nibble.

Chef, Natalie Rodriguez is also a self-proclaimed poet, wife, dog Mum and full-time traveller from the USA. Growing up in her Puerto Rican grandmother’s kitchen, she has a natural affinity for cooking and now takes this on the road with her wife Abigail.

Three years and counting of cooking out of a van has resulted in ‘Tiny Kitchen Feast’ – a collection of recipes from a travelling Chef, which are all plant-based and delicious. Think dishes such as loaded potato pancakes and creamy butternut squash pasta with coconut bacon and gingersnap bacon.
