Look What’s New – Buckley’s Chance!

Are you always on the lookout for a new café, bar or restaurant to indulge yourself, family and friends?

No sweat…we have you covered! Every week AGFG will aim to let you know what new venues have opened in your area and why you should give them a try.

You can help too – just click here to email our PR team and let us know of a new eatery in your suburb so we can inform everyone and help these establishments thrive and survive during tough times.

Located in Alstonville’s heritage post office, Buckley’s Chance artisan café and restaurant on Main Street invites diners to explore a menu celebrating local Northern Rivers produce. This café by day and restaurant at night, is the ideal spot to enjoy a coffee, wine, cocktail or beer in the sun on the large deck, while indoors boasts recycled timber floors, vibrant artwork and leather banquette seating along with intimate tables for two.

Why should you drop in for a meal at Buckley’s Chance? Here are three good reasons:

What’s your most popular dish:

Our must-try breaky dish is the new smoked chilli scrambled eggs with chorizo, herbs and a side of Buckley’s badass sauce, on sourdough. As for the bar menu, don’t go past the smoked beetroot salad with macadamia cheese, Davidson’s plum, beetroot and macadamia crumb.

What is your point of difference?

Look What’s New – Buckley’s Chance!

Our heritage building is truly unique. Established in 1909, our venue served as the original post office for Alstonville; it has been respectfully refurbished and oozes charm.

Another point of difference for Buckley’s Chance is our vision to execute elevated food in an ultra-casual environment. We love to showcase the stunning local produce that the Northern Rivers has to offer alongside native flavours in a laid-back atmosphere in which you can stroll into in your thongs.

What is a fun fact that not many people know about the restaurant?

Our stunning venue has a beautiful wood-fired pizza oven which has been dormant for many years. We are in the process of resurrecting the oven to be used across our various menus as well as launching wood-fired pizzas.
