Post Overview

Named after its place residing in Perth City’s State Building, Post restaurant was previously the franking room of the original Perth General Post Office, now a much-awarded gastronomic destination. Opt for a private feast in a secluded room overlooking the Stirling Gardens or be seen to a table in a chic space designed with Parisienne influence, from soft sandy timbers to a delicate central olive tree stretching up towards a high ceiling to lend an air of romance. Post’s delectable cuisine showcases local purveyors through an array of menu choices, delighting diners with entree serves like Linley Valley pork belly, figs, sweet potato and sherry gastrique, followed by larger portions such as market fish with parsnip cream, kale and smoked ham broth, complemented by sommelier suggestions.

A few words from Post

Hailing from Bunbury, Western Australia, Kim Brennan hopes to showcase seasonal fresh produce highlighting his home state in his position as Head Chef of Post at COMO The Treasury.

Brennan found his passion and skill for cooking at Lamont's in East Perth, before heading to London to hone his skills at Notting Hill Brasserie, known for its contemporary take on European dining. The lure of working alongside hatted chef Justin North in his flagship restaurant Becasse saw Brennan relocate to Sydney.

2012 saw Brennan open the acclaimed Flying Fish restaurant at Tokoriki Island Resort in Fiji alongside celebrity chef Peter Kuruvita, before establishing himself back home at COMO The Treasury in Perth.

His flair for contemporary, flavour-driven cooking is evident in the menu at Post, which changes regularly with the seasons.

"I am passionate about using local and seasonal produce, particularly as what we produce in Western Australia is fantastic," he says.

Alongside Post's contemporary menu, Brennan oversees the restaurant's feature of healthy cuisine with its COMO Shambhala menu.

In addition to Post, Brennan also oversees the culinary offerings at The Treasury Lounge and Bar.
