Four leading Chefs – one fire – all wild!
Beverly Rooftop on Chapel Street in South Yarra doesn’t do things by halves! On Wednesday, July 30, for one night only, Danielle Alvarez, Darren Robertson, Mark Hannell and David Ball come together for a collision of some of Australia’s most trailblazing Chefs.
Expect a soulful celebration of food in its purest form, guided by instinct, collaboration and the wild beauty of seasonal produce. No excess. Just thoughtful, stripped-back cooking, led by fire, connection and heart.
It’s called Wild: Rooted in Reverence and is just $120 per person with beverage pairings and seasonal cocktails available to add on the night.
Raise your expectations to Level 24, Beverly’s intimate rooftop experience set above Melbourne’s panoramic skyline and get closer to the makers, the stories and the produce itself.

The lineup, curated by Darren Robertson - culinary director of Three Blue Ducks, Restaurateur and cookbook author – features renowned local and interstate Chefs.
Danielle Alvarez is Culinary Director of Sydney Opera House Events and a cookbook author, who was born into a food-loving Cuban family in Miami. The lure of the kitchen took her to California to work with some of America’s finest Chefs.
Mark Hannell’s passion for the hospitality industry started as a lost 20-year-old party kid who had just moved to London. Luckily, he landed a job within the Ottolenghi group and that changed his life forever.
Moving to Australia in 2013 to try to and fail to get a sun tan, Mark landed in Byron Bay and just had to work for Three Blue Ducks. He is now Head Chef and owner of Chef-hatted Reed House in Melbourne.
David Ball’s career has taken him around the world after starting his apprenticeship in a Michelin-starred kitchen in the UK, before heading the culinary offerings as Executive Chef at Beverly Rooftop.
