2017 on a Shoestring

By Sean Melrose.

2017 on a ShoestringPlanning the holidays for the New Year is an annual tradition, much like taking it easy on the chocolate ice cream in January or being steadfast that this will be the year you’ll finally clean out the shed. The trouble is that bank accounts around this time of year tend to be suffering from a post-Christmas, post-New Year’s Eve hangover.

Fear not, there is a way to reel in the dream vacation without overspending. Take a look at the below list identifying the best time of year, from a price perspective, to visit the world’s great cities. Fortunately, this doesn’t mean you’ll end up in the middle of a torrential downpour wearing your bathing suit, because the list takes in to account the weather, comparing the pricing and temperatures between weeks for the best outcome.

The list, featuring four star accommodation in the globe’s most popular cities, is organised into a calendar of sorts to guide anyone with wanderlust through the process of booking budget friendly accommodation for their adventure.
