The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival is back this year, bigger than ever with a Festival Artisan Bakery and Bar. The blank canvas of Queensbridge Square will become a working bakery, workshop space, and wine, brews and coffee bar tempting passersby and festival goers with the aromas of freshly baked bread.
Don’t miss their signature long table lunch event on Friday, February 27 where 1500 foodies will feast on a three-course menu designed by Shane Delia and Adriano Zumbo – supported by Peter Rowland Catering.
Various venues across Melbourne CBD will be taking part in the festival’s global chef and wine dinners, starting from February 27 through to March 14. See dates and times here.
This weekend (Feb 28 & March 1) is Open Kitchen weekend where ten unique events will spring up along the river including Crown’s Alfresco Kitchen, Food Truck Jam, a Pirate and Pimm’s Adventure and fiesta at Southgate. Cooking demonstrations from Shane Delia, Matthew Evans, Adam Liaw and Poh Ling Yeow will be on the big red stairs.
