Look What’s New - Peonee!

Are you always on the lookout for a new café, bar or restaurant to indulge yourself, family and friends?

No sweat…we have you covered! Every week AGFG will aim to let you know what new venues have opened in your area and why you should give them a try.

You can help too – just click here to email our PR team and let us know of a new eatery in your suburb so we can inform everyone and help these establishments thrive and survive during tough times.

Look What’s New - Peonee!

With a sleek industrial feel, Canberrans are discovering Peonee on Provan Street in Campbell for a new fine dining experience. This small contemporary eatery is the brainchild of Alberto Ranali whose love of food started at age 15 in his home city of Bologna and he now delivers a five-course set menu for dinner at this intimate Mod Oz venue.

Why should you drop in for a meal at Peonee? Here are three good reasons:

What’s your most popular dish:

We offer a five-course set menu and you won’t see the same dish on the menu for longer than six weeks, therefore it is really hard for us to pick a favourite one. The one thing you will always get is our housemade wholemeal sourdough with cultured butter.

A must-try drink is our kombucha, brewed in-house with no tea whatsoever, at the moment we are serving a pineapple kombucha.

What's your point of difference:

We definitely have a level of interaction between the Chefs and guests that you won’t find anywhere else in Canberra. While you dine with us you can see the Chefs working right in front of you, they will also take each course to your table and explain the dishes.

Feel free to ask as many questions as you want.

What is a fun fact that not many people know about the restaurant?

Our venue is fully operated by a Chef-only team.
