Technically, it’s not drinking alone if the bartender is there!
You know the drill…it’s Friday afternoon and time to relax after a long and stressful work week.
What better way to chill out than with a cocktail at your favourite bar or restaurant? Alternatively, you could take the party home and concoct the perfect drink to usher in the weekend.
Welcome to our Cocktail of the Week series, where each Friday we will highlight a cheeky creation to tantalise tastebuds and set the tone for good times.
Head to the place to see and be seen by the sea on the Gold Coast at Hyde Paradiso
on The Esplanade. Overlooking the iconic sands of Surfers Paradise Beach from level one of Peppers Soul hotel, this dining destination is the perfect Hyde away for all your cocktail and tapas needs; sit back and take in ocean views while indulging from a selection of cocktails and delicious Mediterranean plates.
In collaboration with Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur, Hyde Paradiso mixologist Cameron Barnes and team have created five variations of Espresso Martinis as part of the venue’s cocktail menu.
"My favourite would have to be the Biscoff Martini
,” Cameron says. "I have been personally playing with Bocian salted carmel liqueur for a few cocktails, but this one certainly hits the spot.”
This new liqueur is produced on a rye vodka base and macerated with caramel and a hint of salt – it is ideal as a digestif, with desserts or in a cocktail.
Coat the rim of a coupe martini glass with Biscoff spread and crushed Biscoff biscuits for the ultimate indulgence!
