What is a must-try dish/drink?
Don’t go past our fried kimchi sandwich with bacon on focaccia with Keens mayo. It has all the salty, sweet and sour flavours you are looking for.
For coffee, we have got specialty beans from Mecca - single-origin espresso, batch brew, cold brew etc.
I think a lot of people don't expect the coffee to be good because we are called a sandwich shop, but we brew very consistent coffee using premium beans!
What is your point of difference, what sets you apart?
We make fermented hot sauce seasoned with rice wine vinegar that also goes on our poached chicken sandwich.
Everything is made to order so it tastes super fresh. If you look at the menu, we have some stuff on there that you cannot find at other places, using Korean flavours on focaccia bread and really focused on making the whole thing balanced.
Tell us something not many people know about the venue?
Calida (who is our landlord) did an amazing job on the fit-out of the shop and she is also my good everyday customer and friend.
