Went for my birthday and could not have picked a better restaurant. The food was simply amazing. One of the best dining experiences I have ever had in Brisbane. Will be back.

As 2023 came to a close, I had the incredible fortune of celebrating New Year's Eve at Olive Thyme, and it was nothing short of spectacular! The star of the evening was undoubtedly Sibel, who hosted the event with a warmth and charm that made everyone feel like family.
The live music was the soul of the party, infusing traditional Turkish melodies with a modern twist that kept our spirits high and our feet tapping. The atmosphere was electric, with a blend of locals and visitors alike, all united in celebration.
The food, as always, was a culinary journey. From succulent kebabs to delicate baklava, each dish was a testament to the authentic flavors of Turkey. The special New Year’s Eve menu featured some seasonal specials that were absolutely delightful.
But it was the warmth of the hospitality that truly set the night apart. Sibel and her team at Olive Thyme went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a memorable evening. Their attention to detail, from the decor to the seamless service, made us feel truly special.
If you're looking for an authentic Turkish experience with a side of unforgettable memories, Olive Thyme is the place to be. This New Year’s Eve celebration was one for the books, and I can’t wait to see what Olive Thyme has in store for the next one! Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing- the moment u walk through the doors a beautiful smokey aroma intoxicats your senses and u can't wait to sit down and just eat - the food came out super fast, perfection portions and the flavour is simply flawless. IF U ARE A BRISBANE LOCAL OR JUST PASSING THROUGH - OLIVE THYME IS A MUST!!!!!

My family and I have been returning customers since the day Olive Thyme opened and each and every time every component of this amazing restaurant keeps getting better and better! The quality, presentation and taste of the food is incredible each and every time not to mention the service provided by the lovely staff and incredible atmosphere! Highly recommended and wish we lived closer so we could go there every day ?? if you haven’t tried yet, RUN, don’t walk as your taste buds have missed out for too long!!

You need to go in experience, the mouthwatering taste cannot be described in words. Amazing variety of 5 star dishes cannot find a fault in any of them. Atmosphere and the staff are so nice. Cant wait to go next time??

I have been in Olive Thyme. I just have to say that it's the best Turkish restaurant of Brisbane. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff are the best. The food tastes Turkish. I'm exciting to come back to olive Thyme.

We were recommended to dine at Olive & Thyme for their authentic Turkish cuisine. Our meal ended up far exceeding our expectations. The food was absolutely delicious and their wonderful staff went out of their way to make our dining experience the best it could be. Even though the restaurant was full we didn’t feel crowded, the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. We will definitely be back!

I’ve been thinking the whole drive home on how to describe our experience tonight and I just cannot find the words. I don’t think we have ever stayed close to 4 hours in a restaurant with our 3 year old daughter. From the ambience to the decor, the staff and most importantly the food we cannot fault a thing! Everything has been thought of so finely, the flavours are amazing and absolutely incredible, it definitely is not your standard Turkish restaurant (finally!) if you are after a true Turkish, fine dining experience look no further. Definitely something Brisbane has needed for a very long time and safe to say they delivered above and beyond! You truely need to experience it for yourself to understand this review. Wishing this restaurant absolutely nothing but the best and utmost success!

Best family restaurant!
Our entire family really enjoys eating at Olive Thyme Cuisine. Not only is the food amazing, but the atmosphere is gorgeous!! The staff are always happy, helpful and you often find the owners taking time with the families throughout the night. Our children range from ages 7-14 and it’s the first restaurant where they can enjoy a proper nutritious meal and not nag to hurry up and leave. And we are a family that travel with electronic devices may I add.
Thank you Olive Thyme Cuisine for always going above and beyond! We can’t wait to be back.

Every time we come to Olive Thyme, it is an absolute pleasure. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with Turkish ceramic plates, and the waitstaff are very friendly and helpful. The menu caters to all dietary requirements, and each dish has so much passion and love drizzled in. We always order a dips plate with lavash bread, the halloumi dish and octopus meze plate, and we NEVER skip desserts... And every second Friday is live music! A must-go for your next night out.

I have dine in there several times. First of all the taste is way beyond my expectations . On the other hand it’s cosy warm and chic environment which gives u an amazing feeling like u are at home with good vibes. The owner Sibel is an extraordinary woman with all welcoming and the stuff are very smiley friendly and kind. I am definitely addicted with your food and hospitality. It is also very good for big groups yet we dine with work colics and very inspiring environment for talk about business but also celebrate birthdays etc. and I love the live jazz on Friday evenings too.

Best Turkish food in Brisbane.
Love how they have cater to gluten and dairy allergies and have amazing options for vegetarian and vegan diets. The dishes are well presented and the flavours are so delicious ?? I would recommend Olive Thyme to anyone and everyone.

Olive Thyme bless us away in every aspect. Before anything was the amazing customer service we received. Being a first time visitor to the restaurant we thought it was going to be “Just another Turkish restaurant” but we were blown away at how far from it was and how unique everything was set out from the layout to the menus, everything had a detailed touch to it. The staff were absolutely delightful and especially the host Sibel. She goes above and beyond with her beautiful smile and welcoming personality. The food was to droll over and I cannot wait to go back to Brisbane and visit Olive Thyme again. Everything about the place was great ???? big thumbs up guys!

Amazing Olive Thyme
The food, wine and service was very special. My son just loved the ‘Lamb Cutlet’ and ‘Taze Fazulye’ was so delicious and tasty. The Meze plate was absolutely divine with the rich flavours. I don’t think you can find the same taste anywhere else in Brisbane. Service was also very attentive and welcoming. Finishing with chocolate brownie with icecream was such a great idea. Many thanks to Sibel and Yalcin for sending us home with a good taste in our mouth.

If you want to experience reel Turkish cuisine, this is the place. I recommend Lahmajun, meat platter, meze plate, dips plate and Turkish bread. Also soujook-hallumi is a great Anatolian mixed, the fig puree from Aegean part, hallumi from Mediterranean and the soujook from middle part of Turkey. You can find selection of the best Turkish foods, and the closest taste is just 15000kms away :)
