Recollect over a calming cup of tea at Pollen Tea Room, a sanctuary of warmth and tranquillity in the heart of Hobart’s popular Battery Point precinct. Be quick to secure an intimate table for two or join in a friendly crowd at a central communal table inside among artisan products and a welcoming ambiance or sneak outside and find a cosy place among courtyard settings, nestled somewhere between close walls and lush plants. A short but sweet menu of delectable offerings ebbs and flows with seasonal changes in Tasmanian-grown produce, available alongside Teatribe organic teas, medicinal tisanes, coffee and fresh, cold pressed juices. A glance at the menu may have you delving into Bircher muesli, baked eggs with cashew and spinach pesto or raw pad Thai with zucchini noodles and spices.
Pollen eggs: two baked eggs with avocado, za'atar, herbs and sourdough.
