Always Amazing!

Having lived in Townsville for over 1.5 years, Seasoned is definitely my go to restaurant. The food quality is exceptional, and you really can't beat the atmosphere, and amazing service from the whole team. I've introduced Seasoned to many friends and family, who have all enjoyed it thoroughly, and have said "when I come to Townsville next time, can we go back?!" They say, once you find a good thing, never let it go, well Seasoned, keep up the good work, and you will be stuck with me forever!

Sophisticated dining in a relaxed environment

Dinner at Seasoned is always a pleasant experience. The staff are always too happy to accommodate my son with a 'special bolognaise' and that makes for a pleasant, relaxed evening for us to dine. The open kitchen, immaculate staff and setting, friendly bar service and of course the seasonal menu of locally sourced produce make this restaurant a favorite of ours.

Relaxed Atomsphere. Beautiful dining

Always love a Dinner at Seasoned. The atmosphere is casual enough to feel at ease but the food is always so tasty and unique. Love!

A hard earned 5 stars from me to what is certainly the best restaurant on Palmer Street (and I have eaten in them all!) and possibly one of the best in Townsville. Service was friendly, efficient and professionally attentive in the comfy and trendy surroundings. The beer list is most impressive and reasonable at $6-10. The wine list is even more impressive with bottles starting at $30 and climbing all the way to an eye watering $850 for the big spenders! My main was the Orange glazed duck breast which was divine. The table next to me had the lamb shank which looked so go it is on my hit list for my next visit. Taste, texture and flavour were perfectly balanced. My dish did really need a side and this is my only small gripe about the whole experience, I am not a fan of having to pay for a side when a meal should be complete as served in my opinion. That said the "roasted garlic potato puree" aka mashed potato was delicious, as it should be for $8 ;-) My dessert of Lemon Madelines did take quite a while to come out, but a complementary coffee for the delay is an simple example of great service that so so many restaurants could learn from. I was not disappointed though as they were simply delicious served with pistachio custard, honey ice-cream, lavender shortbread, yum yum yum. I could eat them again and again but will have to try something different again. In summary this is a top dining experience but you do have to pay a little for this in the price. I cannot wait to go back though as the quality of the food is outstanding, Great job. Tell us about your experience...

Great location. Simple menu with a good selection of dishes. Fantastic wine list. Creative plating up using nice plates. Brioche was delicious. Entree and mains well cooked with great flavor combinations. Would have been better with white table clothes and if my Chardonnay was served in a Chardonnay glass. The dessert menu needed a little more wow factor. However would definitely recommend the restaurant and it certainly deserves it's one chef hat.

What a great little restaurant, after trying the awesome tapas I came back the following week for a meal and have been a regular since. The service, food and drinks tick all the boxes for me.

Very good service indeed, oysters to start, attention to detail pleasant surprise.We knew that if someone took care of a simple thing like a couple of oysters we should be in for a treat. We were not disappointed. The food was cooked very well and not over complicated which I loved as my pet hate with food is the addition of needless ingredients, good produce should speak for itself, less is definitely more. My only small criticism is that there could have been more garlic butter in the petite Kiev served with Lemon roast chicken. The cheese board much to my delight had a Cropswell Bishop Stilton which is my favourite back in the UK.The meal for various reasons ranging from personal attention, great food, varied wine list to suit all tastes, to the little beads of caviare and micro salad on the oysters made this one of my favourite meals in Townsville yet. We will be going back.

Home to gourmet Mod Oz cuisine and an impressive wine collection, Seasoned on Palmer Street in Townsville is an address definitely worth exploring. Seasoned's intimate vibe is emphasised by the use of rich browns and dark wooden tables, with dim gold lighting and elegant tableware setting the mood for an evening of sophisticated dining. Select a bottle of wine from one of the largest cellars in Townsville to pair with an entrée like lamb tartare with harissa spice and preserved lime. For something more filling, opt for smoked spatchcock, cauliflower, tahini, ras el hanout, pomegranate and almonds; or the spice rubbed lamb rack with Massaman curry and pickled salad. Be sure to leave room for a dessert like the chocolate Yule log, with cherry cream, meringue, edible moss and mushrooms.
