From all of the AGFG family, we express our condolences and send our thoughts to Australian icon Maggie Beer and family on the sudden and unexpected death of her daughter, Chef and businesswoman Saskia, who passed away on Friday night.
A mother of three, Saskia (46) is survived by her husband Petar Jercic, who will continue to run his wife’s meat, produce and catering business, Saskia Beer Farm Produce.

Maggie announced her daughter’s passing with the following message on Instagram on Sunday night:
"It is with broken hearts we need to let you all know that our beautiful, extraordinary daughter Saskia died unexpectedly yet peacefully in her sleep on Friday night. We ask for time/space as we grapple to come to terms with our loss and appreciate all the support we have been given.” Maggie, Colin and family.
