What is a must-try dish/drink?
All of our fish and meat in the kitchen are locally sourced strictly from WA. We use Donnybrook pink for our beef, Moore River Berkshire pork, Abrolhos Island scallops, Shark Bay King George whiting and Shark Bay prawns.
As for drinks, our Sangria, both red and white are amazing. We have Estella on tap (Spanish beer), an amazing wine list comprised of only WA and Spanish wines - the Rioja from Spain is amazing.
What is your point of difference, what sets you apart?
Our level of service and hospitality sets us apart from the rest. The minute you walk in, you feel like you are in Spain due to the smell of our wood-fired parilla grill where everything is looked over locally sourced jarrah.
Tell us something not many people know about the venue?
Our venue holds a small bar licence, what this means is that you can just walk in (without a booking if you like) and have a drink. You don’t need to have food to visit our venue.
Our Donnybrook pink beef is on a special feeding program and fed with apple cider vinegar and activated charcoal, which is what gives it the distinct light pink colour and flavour.
We offer the best jamon Iberico in the world imported directly from Spain, fed on 100% acorns and aged for 5 years!
Our sister venue is Hillarys Beach Club, same owners and management team. We used to run a venue close by and are so happy and excited to be back in Iluka!
