Beat the Winter blues and take to sunny, Byron Bay for an exclusive VIP food lovers’ weekend.

With your host Tawnya Bahr from Straight to the Source food tours, this delicious VIP weekend of food, wine and leisure is part of the inaugural Byron Bay Fine Food & Beverage Festival being held in the grounds of the award-winning Elements of Byron resort on Saturday 3 June.

Your VIP Food Lovers’ Weekend Package includes two nights’ accommodation with breakfast at Elements of Byron and a stellar program of foodie events presenting Australia’s best Chefs, producers, food artisans, wine makers, distillers and brewers.

Friday 2 June – The ‘Mixed Dozen’ Gala Dinner 

The Gala Dinner welcomes guest Chef Neil Perry and features 12 stellar Chefs including Darren Robertson and Mark Labrooy (Three Blue Ducks), Sean Connelly (Balcony Bar and Oyster Co.) and Ben Devlin (Paper Daisy), alongside 12 Australian wineries. The dinner will take place at your home for the weekend – Elements of Byron. It promises to be a gastronomical extravaganza and an event not to be missed! Saturday 3 June – 8.30am – 11.00am: Food Tour to Bangalow

Head for the hinterland and the delightful village of Bangalow for a guided tour of the weekly Bangalow Farmers’ Market with Tawnya from Straight to the Source. Tawnya runs food tours for Chefs, hospitality professionals and foodies across Australia and this morning’s tour promises to be fun as well as educational and full of surprises, inspiration and seasonal awareness.

Saturday 3 June – 11.00am- 7.00pm: Byron Bay Fine Food & Beverage Festival

Return to Elements of Byron for the inaugural Byron Bay Fine Food & Beverage Festival. Your package includes: VIP access to the festival, a tote bag for your foodie goodies, the festival program, a wine glass, an opportunity to meet Australia’s top wine and beverage producers, as well as food artisans, producers and award-winning Chefs, an opportunity to attend the complimentary Producers’ Masterclasses and complimentary Beverage Masterclasses along with a cool line up of live music throughout the afternoon.

If you’re just looking to attend the festival on Saturday, June 3, tickets are only $22. The food and beverage masterclasses at the festival are complimentary, but are limited to 50 people per class, so be sure to register on the day so you don’t miss out.
