restaurant perched along Gold Coast Highway in Palm Beach. Mixologists Filippo and Gabi, Balboa’s dynamic duo, are determined to make the most of the festive season while staying true to their fitness goals. As they wrapped up an intense workout, they brainstormed ways to enjoy the holiday spirit without sacrificing their hard-earned gains.
Inspired by the idea of combining their love for fitness with the magic of Christmas, Filippo decided to create a unique festive cocktail. He started by mixing up a spiced concoction of housemade chai syrup, which added a delightful warmth to Fil’s Festive Flip
The protein-rich twist came from adding a whole egg, ensuring their gains weren’t compromised. To complete the cocktail, Filippo added Stolen spiced rum and Frangelico for a festive kick.
A pinch of salt and nutmeg enhanced the flavour while a dusting of icing sugar added a touch of sweetness. To give it that extra Christmas flair, they garnished the cocktail with a sprig of mint and a delicate cranberry tuille, creating a visual and taste sensation that truly embodies the holiday spirit.
With their Christmas cocktail in hand, Filippo and Gabi celebrated both their fitness dedication and the joy of the holiday season, savouring every sip of their unique creation.
