Dramatic, Stunning surrounds.......service was excellent - personable and not the stuffiness from reports we had read. Generous size meals given the nature of these type of establishments. Gorgeous fresh produce and a good selection that covered most food choices. I always check the deserts before ordering and it would have been nice for there to be more than 3 sweet options - probably just me though! I had a deconstructed minted meringue, which while tasty, was not as interesting as the other courses. Some nice touches that made it great value - Freshly made sourdough bread was offered throughout the meal, we were given some small tasting plates to start and some lovely handmade chocolates at meals end. These little extras and the good natured staff members made the experience something to write about.

Stunning complex (worth visiting even if only from a cellar door experience). Excellent menu which was nicely varied. A formal dining experience in a relaxed way - perfect or the coast.
