About Paladino's Cucina
Traditional Calabrian cuisine, including classic homestyle pasta dishes, has locals and visitors returning time and again to Paladino’s Cucina on Henley Beach Road in Mile End. This stylish Adelaide dining destination exudes a warm and welcoming vibe with a black and white mural of the homeland adorning one wall, while exposed brick and dark wood table settings invite lingering over a memorable meal with a glass of vino. Say grazie to starters of deep-fried calamari and spicy tomato sugo, or Nonna Cata’s polpette – meatballs with Parmesan, herbs and housemade sugo – before delving into tortellini tossed with five-hour slow-cooked pork and veal ragu. Perhaps pan-fried pork medallions, prawns and mushrooms, in a rosé sauce entice; finishing with vanilla ice cream, Frangelico and espresso.
