Thredbo Resort is excited to announce the return of Project Shred – a fun and progressive day in the park, designed to develop and inspire the next generation of young skiers and snowboarders.
Taking place on July 12 for those aged 13 and under with coaching from top Australian athletes, the much-anticipated event includes a BBQ lunch, exciting giveaways and prizes. Every registered participant will receive a limited-edition Project Shred T-shirt and poster.

The action-packed event will be held in a custom-built, kid-friendly terrain park, giving young shredders the chance to learn new tricks and sharpen their skills under the guidance of some of Australia’s top riders including:
•Tess Coady – Olympic medallist.
•Ben Tudhope – Paralympic medallist.
•Jarryd Hughes – Olympic medallist.
•Josie Baff – Olympian.
•Abi Harrigan – Olympian.
•Maddi Hoffman, Jye Kearney and Joey Ellis – Thredbo Ambassadors.

With a focus on progression, safety and fun, Project Shred is the perfect environment for young riders to learn, grow and enjoy the mountains in a supportive setting.
Thredbo Event Manager, Sam Noller says the project is all about creating a fun, safe and inspiring environment for young skiers and snowboarders to build their skills and confidence.
"We’re proud to support the next generation and can’t wait to see these young riders progress and enjoy an unforgettable day on the mountain,” he says.
In addition to on-snow coaching, the day will include a BBQ lunch, exciting giveaways and a range of prizes. Turn & Burn, the home of world-class performance camps, will also be on hand to discuss its programs.
