My Kingdom for a Horse – simply the best eggs Benedict in the world. Hock ham – seriously enlightened.

Where do you go to splurge?
I was a big fan of Hentley Farm, though it is hard to beat what we do at Hardy’s Verandah Restaurant.

Your favourite place to take the family?
Noi Vietnamese Eatery, newly opened on Glen Osmond Road. They have created a beautiful light space, while providing modern Vietnamese and the entire family loves it. Great wine and cocktails…which every parent with young children needs.

Where your staff go after work?
The Crafers Hotel, the best pub in Australia last year, according to the AHA. And we would agree.

Brae in Birregurra.
When you’re craving a good pub feed?
Uraidla pub is fabulous, huge fire outside, great food and great locale. Microbrewery and bakery next door – what else is there to want?
Best date night venue?
My favourite is Nido, just around the corner from where we live. A shout out to Justin Lane, who heads up the wine program and does a great job on the floor too.
The best weekend getaway stay?
May be a bit biased, however for sure Mt Lofty House and Sequoia Lodge. Everyone agrees too – the hotel received more awards than any other hotel in 2019.

The Edinburgh Hotel in Mitcham, great beer garden.

When you are craving something sweet?
It’s not my fault, it’s genetic – I have an ice cream problem – 41 flavours is my go-to here.
The best place for a late-night feed?
Chinatown – Ying Chow for sure.
Where you grab your local produce from?
The world’s best supermarket at Frewville.
Tell us a fun fact that not many people know about you?
I took part in an amateur MMA fight a couple of years back, as the main event fight (and won). Not very luxury hotel or fine dining, however I am a little competitive and the fitness and camaraderie is fabulous.
