Cocktail of the Week from Cook at Kurnell.

Technically, it’s not drinking alone if the bartender is there!

You know the drill…it’s Friday afternoon and time to relax after a long and stressful work week.

What better way to chill out than with a cocktail at your favourite bar or restaurant? Alternatively, you could take the party home and concoct the perfect drink to usher in the weekend.

Welcome to our Cocktail of the Week series, where each Friday we will highlight a cheeky creation to tantalise tastebuds and set the tone for good times.

Mediterranean and Miami feels with seaside views await locals and visitors at Cook At Kurnell on Prince Charles Parade in Sydney. Located at Silver Beach, this vintage airstream food van keeps an Aussie beachside aesthetic with a stripped-back nautical design and ocean views; if you are in need of a good hearty snack to accompany a coldie or cocktail while you watch the sunset, this is the spot for you.

Mixologist Frankie Gatti has created The Cook Coco-Lada to entice those inspired by Caribbean dreams and all the islands in between.

"What is more fun than sipping a tropical cocktail, served in a fresh coconut, on an island oasis accompanied by seaside views and shimmery sunsets,” Frankie says.

"Mix your Winter blues with some tropical hues and enjoy our Cook Coco-Lada – a pineapple, coconut and mango concoction. Island-time is all the time with us and we recommend this cocktail because not only does it taste like holidays, it packs a punch and can be enjoyed any time of the day.”
