Much more than a restaurant, Red Poles on McMurtrie Road is the ultimate McLaren Vale dining destination. Combining an art gallery, bed and breakfast and restaurant, this stunning venue offers indoor and outdoor dining on the verandah, quirky courtyards and garden; there’s plenty of room for guests to relax on the bush block with vineyards and enjoy warm hospitality. Experience seasonal breakfast and lunch menus focusing on fresh local produce, along with craft beer, wine and gin paddles – stop in early for marinated mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, rocket and toasted sunflower seed salad, poached eggs and toast. Later diners enjoy BBQ pulled pork, Asian salad and crispy noodles to start; followed by barramundi, lemongrass coconut sauce, bok choy, prawn crackers and pink pickled ginger salad.

Owner Ros Miller, along with her passionate team combine to make Red Poles 'much more than a restaurant and much more of a destination'. Red Poles celebrated 18 years of business in 2023 and combines a restaurant, art gallery and bed and breakfast!
Red Poles is located only 45 minutes from Adelaide in South Australia, in the stunning McLaren Vale wine region. You'll find us across the road from historic Wirra Wirra Winery.
We offer indoor and outdoor dining areas (in our gallery, verandah, quirky courtyards and garden). We are located on a bush block with vineyards, offering our guests plenty of room to relax and enjoy our warm hospitality - your home away from home.
Experience seasonal breakfast and lunch menus focusing on fresh Fleurieu Peninsula produce. Art lovers will love the mix of art including our Indigenous art gallery space. We also offer local craft beer, wine and gin paddles. You can even relax to the sounds of talented musicians on a Sunday afternoon!
If you have time on your hands, make the most of your trip to the region by staying with us in our lodge accommodation - a great central point to explore the Fleurieu Peninsula and McLaren Vale wine region.
