Fabulous food and ambiance
What a treat while in The Blue Mountains! Amazing food! The staff couldn't have been nicer and the refurbished cottage was delightful. Will definitely return when in the area.

The Best by far
Cant say enough about this quaint little restaurant. As retirees.. we've been to just about every fine dining restaurant in the mountains area and beyond, and this is the place we recommend.

WELCOME BACK
After such a long wait with Covid, we were finally able to return to this venue after a 3 year gap. The change is astounding, The interior is stunning, and the food, wine and service are even better.
Chefs "HATS" for this place!!!

A must visit destination in the Blue Mountains
The food we tasted last night was outstanding. Usually with a degustation I find some courses don’t live up to the others but everything I ate last night was brilliant. I was also impressed with his creativity. Hope to be visiting again soon

Truely Amazing
Managed to get a booking at short notice over the long weekend, Really glad we did. They provide an excellent tasting or degustation menu. We went th degustation with matching wines. We have visited many multi hatted restaurants in the Sydney area, and this venue is up there with some of the best. Happy to nominate them for a hat, they truely deserve one.
Thankyou to the owners, you do a wonderful job.

Sheer Perfection
This place is fantastic. The selection of food, and the options of wines, make this place a first rate choice for dinner if your ever in the mountains.

Top Pick in the Mountains
Visited this lovely restaurant during a weekend away. The grounds, the food, the service and the staff are all amazing. We had the tasting menu, which was 6 courses, and all the courses were matched with some really interesting wines. One of the owners, looked after the front, while the other owner was the chef, he even came out and talked with us, and brought out a few treats to round out the meal.
We visited a few other fine dining restaurants in the area during our stay, but this one was by far the best.

Cosy ambience, great food and service
Me and my partner visited pins on lurline on what I believe was the first evening opening after the lockdown closures. There were 10 patrons within the restaurant for a 6pm sitting with appropriate social distancing measures inbetween the tables. The fire was lit as it was a very cold evening which created a great cosy environment! We had the 6 course tasting menu which we couldn’t fault, it was great. Service also great and we felt very welcomed! The chef came out at the end of the meal and offered some homemade chocolate truffles and thanked us for dining, it was a great touch to a lovely evening! Would recommend this restaurant and we can’t wait to come back again! Thanks!

Outstanding culinary experience
Went to the Blue Mountains and found this gem! Service, food and ambiance were all exceptional. The meal was among the best we have had and the personal touch of the owner/chef made our evening most enjoyable. We will definitely be back when we next visit the Blue Mountains and will be recommending the restaurant to all our friends. We were surprised to hear that this restaurant does not have at least one hat!

What a find
This venue might be a little out of the way, but it more than makes up for it with the food and service.. both are amazing.... looking forward to seeing this place win a hat next year.... either way we will be back!!

Deserves all the attention
Stopped in to this heritage listed restaurant on a Sunday afternoon, and could not have been more impressed. We the tasting menus, one normal, and one vegetarian. The flavours and tastes were amazing, and the wine pairings were first rate. This place is much better than some places that have been awarded hats... to the judges, this place needs at least 1!!!

A Must !!!
Visited this quaint little restaurant one Sunday lunchtime. Everything was perfect from the minute we drove up. The building, the food, the staff... all amazing.
The Scallops, Pork Belly and Cheesecake are definitely the picks

Fantastic Outing
This is the best restaurant in the Blue Mountains bar none.... there are other restaurants that are "hatted", but they fall way short of this venue. The food is outstanding, the flavours, the presentation and the concepts are miles ahead of the competition, and the service is some of the friendliest and most informed I have ever come across.....
If you want a truly memorable experience..... this is the only place within to go.....

Wonderful Birthday treat
Visited this classic historical venue on a birthday weekend away, the whole visit from start to finish was amazing. We had the 6 course tasting menu....just perfect! The amount of food, and the wine pairings were perfection. The waitress, who I think was one of the owners, who also chooses the wine, has done an amazing job with the venue. Her partner, the chef even brought out a visually stunning liquid nitrogen treat that had the whole restaurant stopping and staring!!
Fantastic job all round... highly recommended, the best restaurant in the mountains!!

Easter Holidays
Visited this lovely restaurant during a busy Saturday night... The staff, while very busy, were extremely helpful and friendly. The Pork Belly is without doubt the best in Australia (and weve eaten at a lot of venues), and the wine pairings for each dish is absolutely perfect, the sommelier obviously takes a lot of time with the matches. Finished the night off with the chef bringing us out some hand crafted chocolates that were to die for!! Definitely a must visit if your in the mountians

tmclure70

The degustation is a must!!

Great for a Girls Outing
This lovely old building has to have one of the best offers in the Blue Mountains. Fantastic food, fantastic French bubbles and a gorgeous garden to look out over. A must do if your after a special day

A Pleasure
This quaint old building offers an amazing experience. The Tasting menu offers an excellent array of dishes, and when paired with the chosen wines, completes the experience. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the flavours of the food makes me wonder why this restaurant isn't on everyone's radar. A must visit if your in the mountains

Fantastic
This place is fantastic.. A wonderful heritage listed home, secluded away from all the traffic of the main part of town, this venue offers an extensive menu, both food and wine, that simply cant be missed. The Tasting menu is an absolute must.

Unmissable Treat
Hidden away just outside of Katoomba, this quaint restaurant is a standout within the Blue Mountains. The staff are friendly, the food is amazing, (try the Tasting menu for great value), and the building and grounds are outstanding. Book early as this place, and rightfully so, fills up early

pthurston72

Exceptional experience. From the gorgeous old building, to the friendly staff, especially the owner, to the incredibly tasty and great value food.. This is a must visit if in the mountains.... Well done to the team

Fantastic old building, even better food and service. Lamb back strap a absolute stand out, best I've ever eaten!

Cozy and contemporary restaurant
We dined here for our anniversary dinner while in the Mountains. The menu is exciting, with too many quality dishes to choose from. We opted for the kangaroo and the Risotto, both of which were tasty, fresh and well presented. Service was friendly and efficient and made us feel welcome and special on our anniversary. Would def return next time we are in the Mountains.

jwhite45

Everything about this restaurant is first class. Top quality food and service, reasonable prices. By far the best in the mountains

Special Anniversary Dinner
Booked here under recommendation of Lilianfels our hotel for our anniversary dinner. Menu was well thought you with lots of dishes I could have ordered. I chose the lamb backstrap and my wife the baramundi. Both were cooked well and the flavour combinations worked really well together. The wine list was small but seemed to compliment the menu, with a focus on regional wines. Service was friendly but professional and they made us feel special for our anniversary. Would def return next time we are in the Mountains.

Great find on a cold night
We stumbled on this restaurant while driving to our hotel. Good looking historic old house converted to a restaurant. Casual atmosphere inside with a log fire. Food was a real surprise, more fine dining than we would have expected. I can't go past a good steak and the eye fillet was cooked just the way I like it. My wife had the twice cooked lamb and really enjoyed it. We shared a panna cotta for dessert with a kiwi sorbet. Interesting combination of flavors that worked really well together. We would def return next time we visit the mountains.

A Hidden Gem
Truly a diamond in the rough... Have visited quite a few restaurants in the area, even some of the hatted restaurants, and this new restaurant has them covered. We opted for the tasting menu, and were pleasantly surprised. The quality was exceptional, as was the price. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and deserve praise for the new standard set in the area. Will definitely return

jgstephens72

An exceptional place for a meal. The restaurant has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. The staff are extremely friendly and the food outstanding. The highlight dishes were the scallops, followed by the chicken, and finished off nicely with a wonderfully creamy panna cotta. Great value for money and will definitely be back. Thankyou Pins on Lurline for a wonderful evening.
