Great coffee, great deserts, pity that you cant get them at the same time. By the time the great coffee arrived, the deserts were long consumed . That is my ONLY complaint.
Delicious Italian food! The only thing better is eating food in Italy. Good service, great atmosphere and fantastic range of food!
For the many weekend breakfasts I've had here they have all been tremendous. Good to have such a different character in a restaurant. Just be prepared for the million and one cyclists on a Sunday or Saturday morning.
This is a great place for coffee and pizzas and desserts. All are outstanding. The other Italian meals can be of the highest quality but sometimes can disappoint. Perhaps better quality control would help here. Otherwise its one of the few places in Brisbane that stays open late and is always lively and vibrant and safe. Its very hard not to like the place. I suggest having the pizzas or dishes that aren't too complex or are entirely Italian in character. For example this would not be the place to have seafood as there are much better restaurants for that. But for ambiance, good food and a reliable meal in good company Dolce Vita is one of Brisbane's iconic restaurants
