The evolution of modern European cuisine is on the menu at Caleb Restaurant & Bar on Railway Road in Subiaco. Reborn from The Corner Italian with a new modern ambience, this brainchild of Chef Caleb Azuka boasts a simple warm décor in a beautiful heritage building, open kitchen and sky-view rooftop bar for nightlife romance. Live DJ music and a European vibe set the scene for starters like spiced salmon tartare, fresh basil, pumpkin purée, aged caviar and wood-fired rosemary focaccia. For the main, delve into pasta plates like squid ink fettuccine chicken alfredo in rich Parmesan cream sauce, with green peas and fresh spinach, or wood-fired lamb rack and duxelles, with oven-roasted vegetables, red wine jus and basil emulsion. Finish decadently with cheesecake, fresh mint and berry coulis.

This restaurant has been amazing to eat at, every dish is different and original, I have never had anything close to the food made here. A definite recommend for anyone looking for a good night




Absolutely amazing
All I can say is wow! From genuine table service, to absolutely delicious food, CALEB really delivers on excellence. Not only was every bite tasty but the portion sizes were filling, which not many fancy restaurants can claim to have. We have already reserved a table for next time. Very well done!!


Such a Treat!
Loved this culinary venue! We went for dinner with family and friends (8) and from the start, received such a friendly welcome. We had kids, and we were placed in a position to not only watch the activities in the kitchen, but in a very secluded position downstairs, right next to the kitchen. The service was good, which was in itself, unusual for Perth, and it was lovely to talk to chef Azuka. We adore this place. The kids described the bathrooms as 'fancy!' The only thing that could be improved on was perhaps the serving size of the duck. It was rather on the limited side, with only two small morsels. I could eat twice the amount, it was that delicious. Other than that, please keep up the good work!


Amazing cooking class
A group of 4 of us did the cooking class with chef Caleb, it was so much fun and amazing. we all had such a good time. Thank you Caleb, you are so talented and we look forward to dining and trying out your menu.



The service was attentive and the food was incredible. We found the gnocchi, in their sauces of velvet pumpkin, tomato, basil and Gorgonzola, nothing short of immaculate. For dessert: gf chocolate cake soaked in spiced Jack Daniels chocolate sauce, sheer perfection. Will definitely be back


Exceptional experience dining, service and staff
From the moment we arrived staff were excellent and obviously well trained two staff had recently started, but it didn't matter they offered great service. Food was expertly prepared and presented, flavours great. Meal started with Arancini beautifully presented and taste was and they were cooked and flovoured with a great crunch, and house made Burrata, would have to be the best Burrata I have tasted in Australia will go back just for this. Mains we chose Seafood pasta with crayfish and prawns there was so much seafood in the pasta, which was perfectly cooked and presented - I ordered the gnocchi with four sauces pesto, pumpkin, beetroot and gorgonzola. I was a little concerned about the gorgonzola sauce as it is not my favourite. I was put as ease by chef Caleb, and during the meal he came to check how I enjoyed the gorgonzola sauce. He was right the dish was sensational. Dessert we ordered Polenta, coconut with berries and deconstructed tiramisu. Both were lovely not overly sweet. The tiramisu was lovely the coffee was poured at the table which was great as the Savoiardi biscuits were still crunchy and not soggy. Wine selection was good and dishes were all paired with wine. There are great vegetarian and vegan choices available. Chef and Manager greeted us as we left. Will definitely be back. Well done Caleb and Staff

Italian cuisine cooked with passion and imagination - delicious, presented with an eye to aesthetics as well and the tastes and textures ?- sublime !My new favourite ..Caleb welcomed us warmly , shared his story and passion -The staff were helpful and delightful.. We will all be back and keen to see the range and depth of the menus offered ....


It is rare event to go to a restaurant and experience food that has obviously been cooked with such flair and passion. Caleb’s food is that and more. Not only were all the dishes we ordered absolutely delicious, but there was the added essence of the dishes had been prepared with love. No other word for it. Matched with welcoming staff and staff that knew the dinner and drinks menu well. Every time we go we have a really lovely evening.

An Experience Not Just to Remember but Share...
I absolutely love the atmosphere Chef Caleb has created!! There’s a duality to dining where you want a fun adventurous experience outside of your home, but you still want that feeling of enjoying a meal made for you with a certain level of care and hospitality...That’s what I’ve walked away with consistently dining with Chef Caleb, and is the very reason I will travel hours just experience that again. ??

one of my best dining experience
I and my partner came to one of Caleb's cooking class and it was so great that we decided to try out his menu at his restaurant and it was just so exceptional, chef Caleb came to chat with us latter, such an amazing chef and great food. so amazing you guys have to come see what he is doing and the way he comes out of the kitchen to talk about each course during his degustation, so exceptional never seeing any restaurant or chef like him. he is our favorite place now


An orchestra of flavors and dining experience
Dined at restaurant Caleb the second week the opened , the flavors and presentation was great but service needed some work, I told chef Caleb about my honest feed back and he said he was still training them up and in few weeks everyone will be up to speed, I came back a month after and ooh my God it was one of the best service ever, they just know what to do even before i could ask for something is right there and the food on the other hand even got better, last time i tried the wagyu beef carpaccio for entree and the seafood platter with my friend, and it was good and tasty but this time the platting got even better than before and the seafood have more fresh taste of basil and the carpaccio the same, it just got better than my last experience and so looking forward to my nest experience, this time his degustation menu.

A theatre of food
I have Fellowed chef Caleb from his previous restaurant at the corner Italian and his new menu at Restaurant Caleb especially his vegan ravioli in brodo is just so delicious and beautifully plated, so talented really proud of you chef Caleb, will definitely be back to taste the rest of your menu.


A restaurant inspired by a deep passion for incredible food
It always amazes me how Caleb goes from strength to strength and this new restaurant is a clear example of what hard work and passion can lead to. I love it!
