Gracing the Perth dining scene with vibrant flair is Julio’s Italian restaurant, nestled in an historic Hay Street building dating back to 1902. Carefully restored, Julio’s charms with a mix of warm, old-world touches where brick walls are adorned with black and white photos, while modern liveliness can be found in a polished timber decor and contemporary fireplaces. While cracking an Italian wine, peruse a menu of pasta made fresh from scratch, pizza and a spread of hearty mains; start your culinary journey with fresh mussels, tomato, garlic, wine, chilli sugo and charred ciabatta, or calamari fritti, lemon, aioli and rocket. Pasta lovers salivate over casarecce with prawns, confit tomato, garlic, sugo, wine and cream, finish with a decadent dessert of vanilla panna cotta and cherries.

Great variety, great atmosphere and great dessert
A beautiful, rustic and intimate restaurant with a fantastic variety of dishes on the menu. The rich chocolate tart was absolutely delicious! Is next week too soon to return? Haha!
