Staying at the hotel during a particularly wintry period of Melbourne weather, we decided to try the $65 a head Friday/Saturday night buffet. This is advertised as a seafood buffet but really consists of three buffets - cold (mostly seafood), hot (mostly meat) & dessert. For its kind, the food was pretty good and the service was excellent. And if, like us, you give into the temptation to eat too much, it is good value for money. Sweet-tooths should especially appreciate the dessert buffet, which features many bite-size morsels along with a few more substantial offerings and a chocolate fountain into the bargain.
