About Strange Concept
Discover global fare with flair at Strange Concept restaurant on Stuart Street in Melrose. Nestled in Mt Remarkable Hotel Motel, this Eyre Peninsula dining destination takes guests on a trip around the world with a menu dishing up classics from Thailand to Greek-style grilled chicken. Chill out in a warm and inviting atmosphere and tuck into breaky plates of scrambled eggs with chilli, onion, garlic, prawns and crab meat, on sourdough. Join a lively dinner crowd for pork and chive dumplings with chow chow sauce to begin, before grilled kangaroo fillet, truffle mash, broccolini and Port-infused herb gravy. Perhaps Thai massaman chicken curry and rice hit the mark, or crispy pork belly, mash, rhubarb and berry jam, peas and gravy; old school faves like an Aussie parma never disappoint.

In our kitchen we create fresh, healthy and fantastic food. We don't use short cuts in our cooking methods. Using our wisdom, our food is made with love and passion - focusing on Australian and local produce.
