About Spice Pirate BBQ and Chile Banditos Condiments
Chilli and fire cooking lovers follow the aromas wafting in the Lismore breeze to Spice Pirate BBQ and Chile Banditos Condiments pop-up restaurant at various local markets. The brainchild of pirate and local identity Aaron Hargreaves, whose passion for chillies has led him down the path of low and slow cooking on a Mad Max inspired handcrafted barbeque, the venture also sells a range of sauces and condiments. Chow down on a Mexican pulled pork wrap, served in a fresh tortilla with kale slaw, lime aioli and your choice of condiments; or say ahoy to a chilli boat with smoked mild chilli halves, filled with a secret herb and cheese mix and served on a bed of kale slaw. Take home gourmet chilli flakes, smoked salts and barbeque spice rubs from Banditos’ range, along with branded kitchenware.

Sublime Range of Sauces.
These Guys dropped everything after the community where I live was destroyed by a firestorm, they packed up their kitchen and came and cooked us delicious meals for three days free of charge. These guys are people you should support. And if you like sauce of the spicy variety they make some damn fine bottles.

Have tired several of their sauces and they were great. The Chipocalyps is my favorite and I keep a bottle in my fridge at all times.

Got recommended to join the crew by a fellow pirate and have never turned back. The sauces are amazing...great flavour and plenty of burn to get those taste buds tingling. And the food! Flavorsome and hearty....enough to warm the cockles of an old pirates heart!

We booked the Chile Banditos for our festival and they were by far the most popular food option there. The BBQ brisket and pulled pork were amazing and backed up with their incredible chilli sauces. We’ll definitely have them back next year!
Best food ever
His meats are so awesomely done. He might as well be crowned king. His burgers are awesome. His smoked pumpkin.......is hands down the "Best" food i have ever eaten... You "NEED" to book him for birthdays, wedding, even just because you want good food....
While the burgers are delicious, the stuffed pumpkin is out of this world! My fridge has every Chile Banditos sauce and the cupboards have all the rubs as well. Have been buying these sauces for months!

Spice Pirates catered my wedding and made an great day even better. The food was fantastic, everyone raved about it all night. The crew were super organised and on top of everything but still managed to provide an amazing chill and fun atmosphere. The burgers and the stuffed pumpkin were to die for! As for the chilli sauces- I can’t get enough of them!
