Dining at Sidewood Estate in Hahndorf was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt relaxed yet refined, perfectly matching the beautiful Adelaide Hills setting. What truly stood out, however, was the service. The staff were incredibly attentive without ever feeling intrusive—clearly very well trained and genuinely passionate about creating a memorable dining experience. Every detail was handled seamlessly, and it was obvious that guest satisfaction is a top priority here.
The food was absolutely delicious. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour, showcasing high-quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation. It’s the kind of menu where you can tell a lot of care has gone into balancing flavours and textures.
The wine recommendation from the staff was spot on and paired perfectly with the meal. Their knowledge of the estate’s wines really elevated the experience and made the whole dinner feel carefully curated.
Overall, Sidewood Estate delivers not only outstanding food and wine, but also some of the best service you’ll find in the Adelaide Hills. With attentive, knowledgeable staff and a menu that truly impresses, it’s a place I would happily return to and highly recommend to anyone visiting Hahndorf.
