what can i say... the word that springs to mind is 'Sensational', I can say this for many other fine dining restaurants, though Shiki in my experience is a more 'Different Sensational'. It was not my first, second or third time here, in fact I lost count. I have enjoyed all the moments at Shiki, the environment is so comforting and honestly it feels like a place that I can just relax, without thoughts of rush hour. I know it's a Japanese restaurant but I just love the jazz music in the background, it just suited the setting and layout. The food is always great. I've eaten here with friends, family and even co-workers, and they all seem to enjoy it as well. Shiki is my recommended place for dining

One of my friends proposed to his future wife at Shiki and told me it was an amazing day. I been wanting to tie the knot myself, for quite a while. I had the same idea to propose at Shiki, and although I have never eaten here, I've always passed by and have walked in once mistaking it for another restaurant. Our experience will be our greatest memory. I was lucky to have made a reservation for that day, as it was pretty packed. The manager suggested a private room for the occasion. Upon arrival we were taken to a private room at the back of the restaurant. We had to take our shoes off before entering. Great atmosphere. The Japanese style mats were comfy and you actually sink your legs into a hollow area below the table. We decided to order the monthly degustation course. Halfway through our meal, I discreetly gave the ring to one of the managers and requested to have a special dessert made up at the end. All dishes were exciting & was real happy with the presentation of the dessert with the ring half hidden into the cake. The service was remarkable. You made our day Shiki, thanks
