I write as I wait for a pot of tea -which I had to get up from the table having finished my meal - to order, it would have been really nice to finish my meal off with a nice hot pot of tea... The food was great! Perfectly cooked, exactly as ordered. I had the 'vegetarian big breakfast' with poached eggs; grilled mushrooms, tomatoes, wilted spinach, and hash browns, served on white toast, with the addition of crispy bacon. The bacon was crispy, just as I ordered! Hats off to the wait staff and kitchen staff... Sadly, after order taking, the wait staff were extremely in-attentive and unfriendly. Oh and that pot of tea, it did arrive, but with cold milk, contrary to my original order of warm skim milk. I had to ask for a sweet to accompany my second pot of tea having finished my meal... The flour less chocolate cake and ice cream was perfect, light, and not too sweet. Just right. Just a real pity about the service...
