Motorcycle ride from Sydney and we arrived in to Mudgee right on lunchtime, made a bee line for the Lawson park Hotel to eat at the Red Heifer Grill. This meanu is amazing and the two of us only just passed up a Grazier Platter to get our own meals of Rump Steak and Fillet Minion. Very decent portion sizes.. slight food coma once finished, because it was too hard to leave anything on the plate. The service was excellent, staff very friendly and funny. Food was ready rather quickly. Value is on par with good quality steak and great meal size, i would even say it was cheap for the quality. Its a must visit.
