About Red Ginger Thai

Generous servings and a friendly, relaxed family vibe have Daylesford locals coming back time and again to Red Ginger Thai on Albert Street. A traditional ambience of red feature walls, Thai accents, statues and images of the Royal family on the walls greets diners as they settle in for a culinary adventure to remember. Perhaps start with a Chef’s special entrée of seafood spring rolls, or chicken satay skewers and housemade peanut sauce; before main choices such as crispy duck breast fillets and mango sauce, with sides of steamed jasmine rice and mixed Asian greens. Those who like a hit of heat opt for hot and spicy red pork curry, bamboo shoots and seasonal vegetables, while vegetarians delve into tasty tofu with mixed Asian greens in oyster sauce, best enjoyed with a cold glass of wine.

A few words from Red Ginger Thai

Welcome to Red Ginger Thai. We are a family-owned establishment, offering Thai Cuisine from recipes found in Bangkok and Isan. Both our chefs are Thai and take pride in both family and Bangkok style family recipes that they have learnt over many years at home in Thailand. We aim for a relaxed family feel environment that can be enjoyed by all ages. We use only fresh quality ingredients to ensure our flavours reflect those that can be found in Thailand.

Jasmine Thai is an institution for us in Hepburn Springs. Every year we visit for our anniversary and we enjoy the food here, whether take away or in-house. The food is authentic, made with love and the flavours are as good, if not better, than the Thai restaurants we frequent in Melbourne. A stand out restaurant in the area, particularly if you love Thai cuisine.
