The namesake of a venue in Mississippi, head to cool and intimate Pappy’s Bar on Erskine Street in Sydney’s CBD for American-style burgers, tacos and cold beer. Embracing a new era of hospitality, Pappy’s proves the Roaring 20s are back with a bit of a twist; spread out over a three-level terrace with laneway seating, bring your date, work friends, or best mates for the best experience possible. Get started with bacon-loaded fries, topped with cheese sauce, spring onion and shredded bacon, or housemade guacamole and corn chips; then chow down on a Southern fried chicken burger with bacon, spicy slaw, liquid cheese, jalapeños and hot sauce. Taco lovers opt for grilled jerk chicken, butter lettuce, guacamole, corn salsa, coriander and a side of tomato relish, or lightly fried barramundi.
