About Motherduck

Welcoming locals and those on a day trip to Goolwa is Motherduck café nestled in an historic building along Cadell Street. A warm ambience radiates from charming stone walls dating back to 1909, transformed with a splay of new and recycled building materials in earthy tones and cast in a soft glow of light. Relax over coffee and brunch dishes filled with local produce like brisket Benny – slow-cooked bourbon pulled brisket, cheesy waffles, wilted spinach, roasted cherry tomatoes, poached eggs and whipped Hollandaise. Perhaps shakshuka eggs in rich tomato sauce, with feta, coriander, parsley and sourdough tempt, or stop in later and join the lunch crowd for a Big Bird burger with turkey, caramelised onion, halloumi, roasted capsicum, zucchini, avocado and baby spinach on a ciabatta roll.
