Magic happens at Impossible Occurrences’ dinner and show experience at Melbourne’s Marriott Hotel. Guests are treated to a two-course dinner at Essence Restaurant, including a bottle of wine, before taking their seats for a 90-minute conjuring performance by magician Luke Hocking. Embracing Victoria’s seasonal produce to create inspired dishes from traditional to modern, Essence exudes a contemporary vibe with polished floorboards, an open plan kitchen-bar and floor-to-ceiling windows, combining for a warm ambience. Enjoy a pre-show entrée of lemon pepper calamari, sriracha aioli, pickled daikon, carrot and baby lovage salad, before mains like brined and roasted chicken breast, miso glazed eggplant, red pepper sauce, shredded wombok, seaweed and green papaya salad and peanut praline.
