Inspired by aromatic flavours of Indian cooking and shaped by three generations of Chefs, Lavendra on Walker Street in North Sydney offers spectacular views and fare. This intimate venue overlooks the Harbour Bridge, creating a leisurely lunch vibe, or romantic evening destination with a special someone. Step through wooden doors and be transported to India, where traditional artwork adorns whitewashed walls and red accents add a warm touch, while the golden glow of candles highlights bridge vistas from almost every window. Choose from a fusion menu plating up starters like lamb rump, saffron and beetroot juice, or trout, green gram and kurma; before mains of gosht ammba – goat leg, raw mango, rice paste, basmati rice and garlic naan. Finish with saffron kulfi and white chocolate baklava.
