About Hogget Kitchen

Take the scenic drive through Warragul to discover Gippsland’s hidden gem, Hogget Kitchen. Perched above the rolling green vineyard of Wild Dog Winery, Hogget Kitchen offers a place to unwind, with a wide-open front deck offering views of the countryside as far as the eye can see; while a stylish interior oozes contemporary charm with set tables of sparkling wine glasses, folded cloth napkins and a flood of natural light through tall windows drawing the outside in. Head Chef, Trevor Perkins has created a daily changing menu entirely made in house, designed to work with fresh ingredients sourced locally at the peak of their season, with a blackboard highlighting current suppliers and the morning harvest from Hogget’s own kitchen garden, resulting in dishes like roasted cauliflower salad.

Best Chef in Gippsland/Australia

Tasty food + beautiful vineyard + outstanding service!

Farm to table deliciousness celebrating Gippsland
The food and service here are phenomenal. Chef Perkin's homemade charcuterie platter is always a must. Seasonally changing, surprising and always devoured, right down to the last homemade cracker. It's only 90 minutes from Melbourne and makes a great day trip for lunch in the vines of local wines makers - whose tipples you can also enjoy.

always amazing food and wonderful service. have already booked for another visit.
