Sensational crispy skin Peking duck
We ordered the 5 course degustasian dinner with the duck with a delicate French champagne and it was devine.
The service, staff, decor, ambiance & music all added to a perfect evening. Definitely our favourite restaurant on the Gold Coast??
Cool vibes, delicious food, amazing cocktails and service.
From the moment you step into this venue it feels like nothing on the GC. The bar downstairs has a city Melbourne feel with its black London shop front style windows, lighting and cool tunes perfect for intimate couples dining and drinks. Upstairs is ideal for bigger groups and they even have a private dining room. The Asian fusion cuisine is delicious from starters tempura eggplant chip to their amazing selection of Bao buns. Korean fried chicken and Moreton bay bug are a must try. The beef cheek rendang, Malaysian chicken curry and crispy skin duck are absolutely delicious. The chilli margarita is my favourite with their coconut expresso martini and close 2nd. We had a great experience and have booked again for a birthday celebration. 5 star review from this guy.
Tasty morsels, cool vibe, friendly knowledgable service
A must try if you like your food interesting and tantalising. The beverage list is appealing too. Situated in the heart of Chevron Island's restaurant strip, parking is not usually a problem.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. It is great to attend restaurants that follow their theme and offer something exciting at new at the same time. Always a favourite choice for my husband and I and our friends. The owners and staff have nailed it. Well done

A great find. This has to be one of the best Asian restaurants on the Coast! Food is creative, considered and packed with subtle flavours. A real delight.

The hype around new places can be just that. But dining at Fu Manchu is an experience. The decor is sensational. The atmosphere inviting and fun. The service exceptional and the food simply amazing. I don't think this will be a regular for just myself more than a following of people who who enjoy an awesome experience all round.
