Located in the picturesque foothills of Mount Warning in the heart of Caldera, Flutterbies Cottage Café on Coolman Street in Tyalgum is filled with old world charm of times gone by. Set within the grounds of the lovingly restored Bakery and Butcher, discover the delight of French linen, flowers and vintage crockery in the elegant tea room or relax in the garden for lunch. Early risers opt for a breakfast burger with smoked chicken, fried egg, tasty cheese, tomato, smoky BBQ sauce and Japanese mayo; while those dining later enjoy pasta plates like double ravioli, cheese, rabbit and porcini. Perhaps treat someone special to High Tea with a sparkling champagne cocktail on arrival, before delving into three tiers of handcrafted delicacies such as cucumber sandwiches, scones, jam and cream.
