Donto-Sapporo has been receiving Gold Coast food awards for excellence in dining since the 1990s and they have't lost it in any of that time. I recommend the 10 piece nigiri sushi with some tempura garlic gloves as an entree. The layout is a little strange but other aspects such as the food and service easily make up for it.
This is one of my favourite restaurants on the Gold Coast. The Sashimi platters are always beautiful. They do their own Donto Sapporo oysters made with a Wasabi Mayonaise which are extremely tasty.
