Greek-inspired food and delicious cocktails have Melburnians returning for fun and frivolity at well-loved Northcote restaurant, Dante on High Street. Pull up a suede stool at the bar and contemplate a cheeky Honey Ginger on Fire cocktail or settle into a cosy table setting with friends for an after-work catch-up and memorable meal. Grilled octopus, white wine reduction and finokio entice to start, or moussaka croquettes with beef, eggplant, bechamel and kefalograviera; before a main such as King prawns saganaki, cooked in Napoli sauce, with feta and sourdough bread. Lamb cutlets, fennel salad and citrus always tempt, with sides of sautéed vegetables and chips; finishing with a dessert of traditional baklava and cinnamon ice cream.

Elegant, sublime, fun and tasty
This restaurant has it all, authentic good greek food from real FOB’s. A beautiful venue full of stories, the staff is fun and helpful! There mama’s selection option is amazing! I will definitely come back.

Absolutely beautiful. We came a few times when they first opened, but this year, they are OUTSTANDING! The service is amazing, the food is homemade and the experience is lovely. Definitely our favorite Greek place in Melbourne.

Beautiful food and fantastic service. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and attentive, and we felt welcome from the moment we stepped in. The food was outstanding. It's so refreshing to find a classy Greek restaurant with terrific dishes and desserts; most importantly, everything is homemade.
