The chef was engaged on each course and the food was excellent. Once again a good solid experience with Cookie’s expertise and experience creating a memorable experience.

We had a large girls lunch and we sat on the verandah, we were comfortable with heaters on and blinds down as it was a chilly day, the food was absolutely sublime, delicious flavours with lots of choices, the service was impeccable,(we had the Janchi menu), plenty of food also. I was made to feel very special, the staff were very accommodating,

Wonderful Lunching
Took my besties out for a celebration lunch and the day exceeded expectation. The menu and food was fantastic, the Sparkling and Sangiovese were both delicious. The customer service is spot on; we felt welcome, a bit like old friends but without being over the top (hate that). I felt strongly that our custom was valued. I am a wine club member, so the bottle of wine at the table was very, very good value. Can't go wrong.
We had a great night for the Winter Reds festival at Howard Winery. As always the food was delicious, with just enough Asian influence. The beef rib was melt in the mouth. The live music was really good. And the staff, as always, were friendly and attentive with a bit of fun. We will definitely be back.
Howards remains one of the best go to Winerys on the Hills - Fantastic Location and Food to die for let alone great staff and marvelous wines!!
Excellent experience and tasting
Howard Winery was a fantastic experience, my wife & I wish to repeat next time we are in the Adelaide Hills, hopefully next year (2022). The tasting was impeccable and the young lady, with blonde hair ( we missed her name) whom we think was the hospitality manager, spent a great deal of time with us and explained all the wines. Our affiliation with Mt Lofty House was well worth it with the tasting being complimentary and including cheeses.
We love the wine so much we became a member & got a dozen sent home & then enjoyed the best cheese & meat charcuterie plate/board we have ever had.
We can't recommend a visit more. The décor, warmth & surrounding vineyards value add to the experience.

Beautiful food and wonderful service
The beef rib was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The duck breast and spring roll was very tender and tasty. Our waitress was very friendly and polite and fantastic with our baby, the best service in a very long time.
