Cafe omai has quickly established itself as a local favourite for breakfast, lunch and coffee. Breakfast has the usual suspects but with Asian flavours that are a pleasant change. For example, the big breakfast is bacon and eggs with a home made coriander sausage. Straight Vietnamese dishes are also available, with people travelling several suburbs for the pho. It is a corner shop and nothing special about the area, but the atmosphere is light, the breezes reliable and Margaret always a congenial host. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for some of the wait staff, who can range in ability and attitude. Saturday lunch they can get a bit overwhelmed and wait times get out of hand.
